I searched and couldn't find this so I made one and hope it is useful for at least one other person. I keep a stock of varying lengths of brake lines for my own use and occasionally carry some with me on long trips, just in case of an emergency. In the past, I would put tape over the ends to keep the brake lines from getting contaminated but over time, they tend to get sticky, the tape falls off, etc. This is a very simple design - I downloaded a nut STL file and added a small flat circle on the bottom in Tinkercad. This one printed as is should work with a standard 3/16 brake line nut and if you print it at 125% size, it should fit a standard 1/4 brake line nut. It is a tight fit so wrenches are required to put the nuts on but that means it won't get knocked off and it will be a tight seal. You could play with the size to make it more of a finger tight fit but I wanted it to be sealed.
