Press for good insertion of brass inserts in printed parts. Based on : - a soldering iron : https://aliexpress.com/item/33057345534.html - the CNC Kitchen tips for hot inserts : https://cnckitchen.store/products/einschmelzhilfen-soldering-tips-m2-x-m3-m4-m5-m6-1-4-m8-100-lead-and-cadmium-free - 20x40x300 aluminium profile : https://aliexpress.com/item/1005003023027840.html - the base from an USB microscope stand : https://aliexpress.com/item/32832493520.html - I also used a 200 mm MGN12C linear guide : https://aliexpress.com/item/4000253482419.html - and an extension spring to keep the soldering in up position (no reference here, it's one that I had in my shop and that I extended more than its original size). 2 M3 brass inserts needed to fix the iron on the cradle 1 M3 and 1 M4 brass inserts needed to fix the spring ends I tapped the bottom end of the profile and used M5 countersunk head screws to fix it to the base Top and bottom stops are here to prevent the carriage from going out of the rail and spreading bearing balls. They are attached with the same M3 screws an T-nuts that keep the rail on the aluminium profile
