Bought this bluetooth speaker some time around 2015. Discovered recently that the rubberized outer shell was peeling off. It was very gunky and sticky when handling. So I decided to model an outer shell for it. Took me quite a while to remove the original shell. I applaud the Braven Team for making such a robust ruggedized waterproof design. This was also my first time printing with TPU material so it was not a perfect print. The surface when using supports feels very rough. Overall it was a good learning experience to design from scratch and revive my old bluetooth speaker. After doing this your BRV1 will not be waterproof anymore. But I think it can still take a beating.
