Breeze 2 Clip Fix

This is a simple fix for the Aspire Breeze 2 broken tank clip problem. This is only been tested on a Breeze 2 with one broken clip, but it may work with 2. Additional requirements: T4 screwdriver Summary: You're removing the spring from the broken clip, and using the space the spring occupied to insert a new static clip (retaining the broken clip's button). Steps: - Print the clip fix. - Using a T4 screwdriver, remove the three screws holding down the top metal plate of the battery unit. - Remove the metal plate, then carefully slide the metal housing up. The clips will stay with the housing, and their springs will release. Don't lose the spring for the working clip. - Remove the spring from the broken clip. Keep the clip button. Retain the spring for the working clip. - Slide the metal housing back onto the battery unit, replacing the fire button, the working clip and its spring, and the broken clip button (without its spring) as the housing slides back on. This is a little tricky, as the buttons need to be in place as the battery slides back into the housing. You'll need to suppress the spring for the working clip as the housing reaches that area to slide it back into place. There should be no force needed here, just careful placement. - Replace the top metal plate, screw back into place. - You now have a small gap between the clip and the housing (where the spring used to occupy) that you can slide the clip fix into. Take a look at the picture with the tweezers, this gap is where the clip fix will slide into. It will be snug. Make sure the clip is facing outwards to catch the tank. When attaching the tank, go in from the clip fix side, then the working clip side. When removing the tank, press the working clip and release the tension from that side, then pull up on the clip fix side. Durability over time may be an issue, so I suggest printing a few of them. Replacing the clip fix is super easy, just firmly grasp the clip fix with tweezers and pull, then slide in a new one.
