Opened up the center of the drip area for the use of Bottomless Portafilter. Did not like the sound of the cup hitting the metal grill. Not a problem anymore! Small expresso cup can slide away because of vibrations. Two guards can be added to the first Thing. The other design (grill with ridges.stl) is another attempt to fix this problem. PETG is a good choice because of its resistance to heat, but PLA might just be good enough. You can print it in a color matching other appliance. Black is less maintenance especially compared to the original.
