Breville Coffee Grinder Impeller Replacement

UPDATED DEC 31: Slight increase to the center hole size, should fit with minimal to no sanding now. TYPE 2 available at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4077336. The straight edge offers ~20% more area for grinds and should better handle coarser grinds. Opened up my 7-year old Breville Smart Grinder (BCG800XL) to find that the impeller has worn down significantly, among other things, and needs replaced! Saw it was a common problem, replacement impellers are prohibitively expensive and so I designed my own replacement impeller! This is untested for longevity, but should hold up well even printed in PLA. Technically not food safe, so use at your own peril if you decide to print in PLA like I do. PETG or anything else should work just fine too! This SHOULD fit many Breville grinders, according to my research. I only have the one, and it fits just fine. I will conduct further testing over the next few months once I finish repairing my grinder! Please let me know if you print it and there are any issues, I am more than happy to provide original files.
