Hey, you should also check out ViperMan's set of organising trays here.

At some point I intended to come back and make a "cage" or some way to hold components in place if you turned the box upside down. I guess I'm not going to do that any time soon.

Edit 2018-02-25:
So, it's always bugged me that some of the designs may not fit within the build volumes of some printers. In support of this, I have:

Re-designed the player upgrade token trays (again) - 3 trays now.

Cut the ingredients token tray in two, made it 6mm taller (to accommodate double-stacked cubes)

Trimmed the Player token storage box down
Where possible, I've tried to make this fit within a build volume of 120x120mm. This is the standard build volume of one of the more popular cheap printers today (the MP Select Mini Pro).

There's still a couple designs I need to modify to this size:

Player Trays - Length is 126mm so this shouldn't be difficult to get back down to 118mm (my target size)

Dollar_Rep_Tokens_tray - This will need to be cut into two pieces
Finally, the worst is the card storage tray - as the space for them is 90x72, the only way to make this work is to just make an upright box. Which WILL suck, because there's nowhere in my design to make it fit into the box.

I could split it into two separate boxes (single design) but that seems even more pointless.

This is my attempt at making a good set of tray inserts for the Brew Crafters board game. It's a Kickstarted board game which is a spin on the Agricola board game (and a lot more fun).
BGG Site

It's got a notoriously HUGE amount of tokens (initial game setup can take anywhere between 15-30 mins depending on familiarity with the game), so there are already a number of these projects around the traps.

This helped me get my head around a few things in Fusion 360, and is a little cathartic at times. Here's what I've got:

Note this list will change shortly

Beer_Tokens_Tray_v2.3
Holds 6 sets of beer tokens, along with medal
Print 4 times

Dollar_Rep_Tokens_Tray_v1.1
Holds $1/$5 and 1/5 rep tokens
Print 1 time

Player_Upgrades_Tray_1-2_v3.1
Holds Advanced market spaces, Brewpub, loan cards, collaboration tokens & pink intern meeples
Print 1 time

Player_Upgrades_Tray_2-2_v3.1
Holds double batch, storehouse, oak barrelhouse, yeast lab, farm, rest of the player upgrade tokens
Print 1 time

Ingredients_Tray_v1.1
Holds all ingredients cubes
Print 1 time

Player_Token_Storage_v1.2
Holds player token cubes, meeples & tokens
Print 1 time

SP_2x_4x_Hops_Tokens_Tray_v1.2
Holds the season token, 2x/4x tokens, hops token and also the starting player beer figure
Print 1 time

Player_Tray_v1.2

Player_Tray_v2.0
Holds starting player token, meeples, brewery action meeples, as well as money, rep & cards.
Print your choice (v1.2 or v2.0) 5 times (or a mixture if you like that)

Optional: Player_Upgrades_Tray_v2.4
This holds all player upgrades in one larger tray (as opposed to two smaller trays)
Only tray I have left to design will be the selected beers display area but at this stage its dependant on what room I have left in the box. For most printers a 283x208mm print is too large an area to be printed in one hit (thats the interior dimensions of the box; which amazingly is what would be required to display 9x beer cards at once!),

So I'll have to devise some way of printing this in pieces (and joining together), ensuring that a card with sleeve will fit, AND provide room for the beer tokens & medal. I'm not sure its possible with the available room left over.

Yes these trays should all fit in the box! I do this stuff in my spare time so it may take about a month or more to finish all this. Any requests/complaints etc the comment section is to the right >>. Cheers.

Print instructions

Rafts: No

Supports: No

Resolution: 0.2

Infill: 20%

Notes:

The trays should JUST fit on the heatbed. You'll need to run the heatbed hot (60-70C) and/or an enclosure to keep the heat in. No need to print at a ridiculously high infill, 20% should be plenty. Any more you are just wasting filament.

All up this will eventually clock in at around 72-90 hours print time on an Anet A8, could be longer could be shorter. This is still a work in progress.

How I Designed This

Using Fusion 360

F3D file is included. It's a bit of a mess (some sketches ended up against the main body rather than the specific component).
