Ho scale (1:87) brick basements for buildings under construction, burned or torn down. Sized similar to rectangular main street buildings (7cm x 10cm / 20 scale feet x 28 scale feet) from several scale model companies for use in town scenes. 7 foot deep basements are designed to be set ~5 scale feet (18mm) down into scenery base to add underground dimension to model railroad. Some models do not have a floor 2 foot deep foundations are designed to be set onto scenery base. 2 foot deep foundation with windows should be rubble filled as crawl spaces don't have windows
