Bridgeport Mill - 3D printable Swarf Pot

My turn to give something back to the community! The posted item is for those who own or operate the old Bridgeport manual milling machines. (fits a Series 1) The base of these machines has a casting that also serves as a coolant collection tank. It's important to keep swarf from getting into this tank as it becomes very difficult to clean out. Often the meshes are missing, allowing this to occur. If not, the meshes tend to catch the swarf which becomes a pain to remove, on account of the nasty sharpness and general 'gunginess' of the environment down below. Chuck the factory mesh plate out, and sit this 'swarf pot' into the holes (you'll need two of these). Now you can simply sweep your swarf into the pots without worrying about it getting in the tank itself. The pots drain, leaving you with just the swarf. To remove, lift out the pots with your fingers, or use a little hook tool in the provided 'hook-hole' if you like to keep your fingers safe, and carry the swarf to the appropriate bin. Dimensions are 96x96x89mm deep. It's 3D printable (with supports) - I have done mine in ABS, so I can't guarantee it works in any other plastic. Feel free to download, modify or print for your own personal use. I do not give permission for the Swarf Pot to made with an injection mold-tool for commercial production. Enjoy!
