Bridgeport Milling Macine Table Covers

Bridgeport Milling Macine Table Covers

This design is for table covers for a Bridgeport-style milling machine. I have provided varying widths that can be mixed and matched to work for various table widths. After printing the cover, print four (4) ribs (pegs) to go into the underlying slots. NOTE: On my mill, I was not able to get the middle slot to exactly match my machine, so I did not put ribs into the middle. Works fine without them. The OpenSCAD source file contains a variable "offsets" that can be adjusted to your table spacing. The pegs are a tight fit into the slots. On my printer, the corners were not exactly flat so I had to sand them to get the pegs to snap into the slot. I then glued them with superglue (cyanoacrylate glue). When printing, I recommend printing face up, and NOT using supports. There is approx 1/2 inch gap for the slots the ribs will go into. Most printers should easily be able to bridge across this.
