My Son had very few track supports for his Brio style wooden track, so I decided to print him a few more. They are based on the existing wooden supports he has, and are stackable. They were designed in Sketchup, simply because it was easy to do there, however I had a lot of issues getting a manifold stl so it needed running through an stl fixer. I think I'll go back to OpenSCAD for the next design. At the moment they use quite a lot of filament. I may look into creating a thinner one, however some depth is required to support the track join. These were printed on a Prusa i3 with a .4mm nozzle and in PLA. Layer height at .3mm with 3 perimeters and 30% infill. Perhaps it may be sensible to drop down the perimeters and infill to save on filament, although this is untested.
