This is for the DIY laser cnc/engraver sold out of china as the "30x40 CNC Laser Engraver". It is an excellent hobby tool for the price but needs a lot of upgrades. This cable chain system prevents the x-axis & laser wires from dropping into the work area while the CNC is running. Without some system to hold those wires you run a high risk of burning through them. A major deficiency in the sellers offering in my opinion. The front end of this cable chain attached with a slide-on frame over the stepper motor. The cable connector retains the frame and therefore no screws or hardware or modifications to the machine is needed. The back end attaches with a replacement cover to the circuit board. Simply remove the existing cover and replace it with the one provided here. This cover also provides a modest amount of protection to the circuit board. On my 30cm by 40cm assembly I needed 18 links to hold the x-axis and laser cable. I find the overhang of the thin walls of the links difficult to print reliable so I have added small support pads in those locations that need to be snipped off with your side cutters once printed. If you want a set of these parts without the support pads let me know and I will post them or send them to you. System works well and seems to solve the problem of the wire management.
