The model shows a section of a double bromeliad leaf. The heirloom frogs, Oophaga, lay their tadpoles in these leaves and feed them with nutrient eggs. It has often happened that the real bromeliads have disintegrated during the tadpole period and the tadpole has been lost. This cannot happen with an artificial bromeliad. They should be hung in the terrarium in such a way that the irrigation system regularly supplies them with fresh water. For a nicer look, you can brighten it up with tinting paint. This is a new version with 2 leaves, the lower part is covered by the upper part. This gives the frogs two options to choose from for depositing their tadpoles. This is an artificial bromeliad.
