Brompton Front Carrier Block Adaptor and Frame System

This is my 3D printable adaptor for a Brompton cycle’s front carrier block. The adaptor comes in several varieties to suit your needs with the ability to extend with external and internal frames. I have provided all the components to make whatever design you choose. If you have an idea that can’t be achieved then please contact me and I’ll see if I can accommodate it. Please read the information and instructions on my website before purchasing Features included in this release The components provided are modular and can be used in any combination you like to suit your needs. There are three main component types: - Sockets – these are the adaptors that fit onto the Brompton front carrier block. They slide on and click into place. - Back Plates – these are required to fix parts into place. You will need nuts and bolts to secure them. - Frame – these parts allow you to construct a frame with corners, tees and connection pieces. You will need to supply the rods that connect them together. If you’re using a crate, hard-shell case or other carrier with its own self-supporting structure, then you may choose to use the basic adaptor parts. If you’re using a bag that has limited to no structure then you can build a basic 2-dimensional frame similar to Brompton’s own frames that can be mounted internally or externally. If you’re looking for a more complicate scaffold structure then there are 3-dimensional parts for that too. Special bungee cord parts added. Alternative corners and frame ends added. Please see website for all updates Diagrams are illustrative to capture all parts. You are not restricted to these configurations. Parts are provided as-is and it is your responsibility to ensure that they are printed as strong as possible and that your frame design is fit for purpose.
