12/12/2019 1715 added 2" Continuous sold as 2"x100' or DK2223 printed and tested just a rectangle with the right hole out. If anyone has photos and the sizes of the DK tape please pm me, I had to spend $8 to just get a visual on which hole/hole pattern for 2". I am going to go back to the original concept and re-imagine it and start from the ground up. My dad gave me a bunch of dymo #30384 labels and a semi functional dymo printer. The problem is/was that the labels are special application for like ebay but they never worked right and the label printer was iffy at best. I do on the other hand have a brother QL-500 label printer that is just short of awesome. But there is another problem. You have to buy brother labels. Now there are fixes for this that involve opening it up and soldering. That could work but doesn't help me out with my fusion 360 skills. So here comes my idea. I am printing the 64 mm holder now that will fit Dymo #30384 I got the other half printed that activates the switches at the bottom. Even made a tool (encoder tool). I also made a part that will let you use a sharpie pen to mark the back of the labels for the optical sensor (has issues) The printer so far with the sharpie pen will print then shows a jam. So included is a open office spreadsheet that you can print, then tape the labels to and print the marks on the backside. I have done this and printed without jam error on printer. I have only printed the side part that activates the switches to 2-3/7" continuous which will work for my purposes for the time being. I also have with the encoder tool been trying different combos and am putting them in a spreadsheet for further development. I am also considering as a test of keeping the old throw away wax paper part that has the printed boxes and just taping it to the labels. The first spool holder was 3mm and to thick so I cut it down to 2.5mm printing now. Further development I will detach the spool rod and make it a drop in for easy changing and I am considering making the switch activator a separate piece(s) so easily switch out other sizes. Added a photo of the "mixer" It was smaller than expected Was doing mm and inch so I added an offset and a spacer. Got skewed towards the end but it worked.
