This kit is a first approach to give new life to those portable typewriters which after 30 years are still in working conditions, despite their thermal ribbon cartridges got discontinued. This exact kit is designed to help the slicing of a thermal transfer ribbon of 30mm (300m long). The technique is to cut the silver protection at the correct height (6mm) then cut the carbon-inked ribbon and glue to the feeder.
