bruiser hg p407 rear shock / body mount

This is a rear shock / body mount for the tamiya bruiser or hg p407 clone. this mount allows you to fit 70mm bigbore rear shocks as the standard ones are useless. the shocks sit horizontally and use a pivot to allow them to fit under the bed. you will need to remove the standard shock mounts and rear body mount and replace them with the all in one body mount. i have removed 2 leaves from each side to allow maximum articulation and kept the springs on the shocks to assist with rebound. the pivot bolts to the chassis through the rear mounting hole of where the rear shock tower used to be. use a washer in between the pivot and the chassis and tighten up the nylock nut and bolt until the slop has gone but it still moves freely. the shock end is designed to screw straight onto a 3mm shock shaft. i have included a set of mks pivots aswell to give a bigger moment arm if you have shocks with harder springs. i used random nuts and bolts ive got around the workshop to assemble this but you can use most of the bolts that come off the original parts.
