Brushless Whoop Frame 65mm

Brushless Whoop Frame 65mm

First of all, this is my very first shared design on thingiverse. I have not printed this model till now and tested it out because I do not own a 3D printer. This frame should be used as an upgrade part for whoops like the Eachine UK65 / US65, the URUAV UR65, BetaFPV 65 and so on. The canopy in the picture is only a sample and can be found at thing 3389105 (thank you bro for this nice model) I did some FEM analyses with this frame and they look pretty well. With 50g trust on each motor (different directions) the frame bents only about 0.5mm in total. Maximum stress peak in this frame is about 5N/mm² -> almost nothing! The weight of the frame should be less than 4g with PLA. If you contact me, I can also share some native CAD formats for this model. EDIT #1: 04.02.2019 I have changed the size of the frame from 65mm to 69mm. Furthermore I changed the cross cut shape of the arms. Eaven that I know, that change is going to make the print process much more difficult I shaped the whole frame hollow inside. This reduces the weight for ~10% and the frame is still stiff enough. EDIT#2: 25.02.2019 I have added a 69mm whoop frame with aditional lashes to fix a rubberband to hold the lipo more easily. A user on Instagramm mentioned, that the former method to screw the rubberband together with the FC is way to complicated when you have to switch the band. I think, now it´s just a little bit better because it will be a pain in the ass to change the rubber either.
