BTT Manta M8P Mount and Shield for Ender 5 Plus

thingiverse

This is an adapter mount for the BTT Manta M8P to fit inside the case of the Ender 5+. There is a side panel to allow access to the boards IO, however this requires cutting the case. There is an included PDF that has the mounting dimensions for the IO shield should you choose to use it. You can print this out and line it up to the case to mark where to cut and where to drill. Make sure that it is printed with no scaling or you'll cut your case wrong. One of the mounting holes for the case is a tad off center, but shouldn't impact the installation. I just haven't got around to changing it and now that my board is installed, I'm not sure I will since it's functional as is. When cutting the case and drilling the holes, there's a bit of slop intentionally put in the design to make it easier. You will need the following hardware: IO Shield: M3x12mm Socket Head Screw - X4 M3 Nuts x4 Manta M8P Mount: M3 6mmx8mmx6mm Standoff - X4 M3 Washers (7mm OD or close) - X6 M3x6mm Screws - X6 M3X4mm Screws - X4 (for the mainboard) Make sure to orientate the STLs so that you can print without supports. If you have a screen, make sure it is installed prior to the board or you will need to remove the board to install the screen. Install the adapter first, followed by the standoffs and IO shield, then lastly the mainboard.
