Commel asked for a design that stood out well this one does. The idea behind this design was to hide the ugly plugs and make a fun table top feature to show off rather than hide behind a cupboard. This design features 6 sockets as required one of which is an extendable socket which would come in very handy for that extra bit of reach for example using a laptop or psp if a wall socket is not close by. The coil for winding back the extendable socket would probably best be suited if it was situated underneath the 5 other sockets as this will allow the coil to be larger in size thus allowing a longer cable to be attached but for simplicity it was placed in a more prominent place. The design also features two USB charging points one of which could be USB 3.0 for a premium version so mobile phones and other portable devices could be charged from the turtle. The on/off switch was placed underneath the shell so as to avoid small children pressing the power button. The shell also acts as a guard so children would be less likely to get electrocuted in comparison to a standard extension lead which would be a big safety selling point if the lid had a lock so children can not get at the plugs I do not know what the production cost would be as i have never worked in this industry maybe someone with more experience in this field could give me a rough estimate. I hope you like it Feedback and likes would be really appreciated
