Have you always wanted to build an arc reactor? In a cave? From a box of scraps? Now you can. At Maker Faire Bay Area 2019 (https://makerfaire.com/maker/entry/69515/) everyone who attended my sold out workshop got the chance to learn how to build and operate a simple vacuum former for ~$35 in common parts to make props, soap/chocolate/candy molds, phone cases & more - then make and take home their own glowing Arc Reactor. I'm putting together a free ebook w/ build instructions, 3D files, tips, and project ideas, etc. Leave your email and I'll send it to you when it's done. In the meantime, I'll send you all of my slides, step-by-step tutorial, a list of materials, and links to everything you need to build your own. http://shor.tw/1c6 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Prj04gPeLw I've revised this version to use a LOT less plastic (~33%) and take less time (50%) to print. However, it should be functionally identical. I think with a little work I could bring it down further, but not by much.
