Finally! The complete (almost) Buell XB CAD model is here! This is CAD model of Buell XB12Scg built by me. The frame CAD model was found in Internet many years ago, I believe this is original factory Buell XB S frame CAD model so the frame is 100% true geometry. Credit for the engine dummy CAD model goes to this guy Buell XB9R -03 Engine . The rest is designed and reverse engendered by me. This is CAD model of real existing 2009 Buell XB12Scg custom motorcycle I designed and built. A lot of the components of the CAD 3D model are 80%-100% good true geometry usable for mechanical design, the rest are just quick reverse engineered parts for visualization and mock-up. So if you are planning to use this CAD model for your project or for designing custom parts for Buell XB be careful and double check the dimensions and geometry in the area you are planning to work, make sure you prototype the stuff you design fist to check fitment and functionality, do not trust 100% to what is here.The CAD model has a lot of fasteners, most of them are for custom parts. Those fasteners have lost names and part numbers, the part names were lost during conversion the CAD model to Parasolid X_T file, but if you want to figure out what those fasteners are you can find most of them on McMaster, just measure them.This is great model for mock-up custom parts for Buell XB motorcycle.If you are going to use this CAD model and reverse engineer more Buell XB parts or design new custom parts for Buell XB please share them with community like I do.
