* UPDATE: slightly open holes on the side fans support because on PLA tent to delaminate. Added a separate file for the middle part and for the fans support, just in case. * UPDATE: slightly modified the fangs to avoid touching the screw of bearings and the termocouple wire * UPDATE: added a V2 version to fix some vibration issue, not tested yet but should work, now you have to use a M3 screw+bolt and an additional autofillet smaller screw * UPDATE: added a printable cover for the x axis, let me know if it fits :D * UPDATE: added a positioned_3item.stl file with the correct orientation I try to made my personal fang because I need more airflow, this is the first version that I'm testing now and I'm pretty satisfied. There are some advantage like: - Printing time, less than 3 hour - The fan is closer to the hot end so less air flow dispersion - Dual fans gives more air.. obviously - Easier to print, no need support - The dual fans holder can be printed in PLA because is not attached to the main body - 20g lighter than the fang that I tried before - Better looking (personal opinion) - It's modular so you can mount 1, 2 or no fan at all just usin a small screw And some disadvantage - You have to modify the x motor protection box just cutting a piece on the bottom right (as in picture), but if som1 is interested I can model a new box to print - Not easy access to the nozzle if you have to remove some filament garbage - You need some electrical skill to arrange the connection of fans PS: I have to try to use a fan as blow and one as suck
