BUG BOTS - Meccano Expansion Parts

These are an assorted BUGs and Parts - like LadyBugs, based off of the Meccano Parts. The Legs plug into the Body. The Dome can be either screwed onto the Circular Base or Glued on - such as a Gluegun. Image-3 is the little girl who helped me build these, one of my daughters. May want to refer to the Meccano - Base Parts - Plates Struts Angles page. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Mendel Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm - 0.8mm Nozzle Tips Notes: I printed these on a Mendel RepRap with 1.75mm fibre. I used a 0.8mm Nozzle Tip with 0.5mm Layer Height setting. Can use any tip from 0.2mm to 08mm should print fine. It took between 3-10 minutes per part to print. - Walls and Caps need to be Rotated 90-degrees to be Flat on the Table to print properly. - Rafts are suggested for Large Nodes. - Parts may be a little thin and fragile - so be careful when removing. Post-Printing Parts may have burrs and need filing to finish. Bolts or gluegun. How I Designed This Used TinkerCad. Based off of the Meccano Parts.
