Buildable Robot

Buildable Robot

thingiverse

A small robot (about 4 inches at the default resolution) with moving parts. The joints are designed to demonstrate the different "degrees of freedom" with regards to mechanics. The legs can swing forward and back ("pitching"); the arms can swing forward and back, move away from the body ("rolling"), and swivel left/right slightly ("yawing"); and the head can swivel left/right and move up and down ("elevate") like a periscope. The model is designed such that the parts can be printed in multiple colors for those who want to have different colored parts. -O. Prescott, 12/14/17
