We were visiting with our 2 and 3yo grandchildren and watching them have a great time playing with their building blocks. Later I was s playing chess when my sweet granddaughter walked up, grabbed one of the pieces, and asked ....Pops, yegos? I started to laugh, then looked at her smiled and gave her a big hug. I knew what I wanted to design. And so I designed the Building Block Chess set. Originally designed for personal use, it was suggested others might also enjoy using them. I designed every item, no other designs or designers were involved. In addition to the pieces, I included the chessboard I designed for use with the set. It can be separated into 2 pieces for easy transport. Originally designed as a portable chess set, I created a box that has removable sections that safely stores the pieces and can be used during game play for captured pieces. Although not included, I am happy to offer a quote for a personalized storage box based in your needs and desires. NOT INCLUDED
