Built-In Filament Holder

Built-In Filament Holder

A simple and nice looking filament holder modeled for the Prusa I3 Rework. Print the clip that attaches to filament spool with the flat part as the base. Print the other part with the L-side that has a single hole (facing upwards in the pictures) as the base. I used 0.2 infill and it worked great. More infill would probably be better for a more robust piece. I do not recommend less infill. Use zip ties to attach the pieces as seen in the pictures. The clip part maybe slightly tight for the spools, so you could print that part at 99% size. The other part should not be resized. I used Hatchbox filament but it definitely works for other types of filament. Print Settings Printer: Prusa I3 Rework Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.3 Infill: At least 0.2 Post-Printing Zip-ties Use zip-ties to attach the two pieces together (look in the pictures to see how I attached them). They are more than enough to hold the weight of the filament spool.
