Gold; 2,38x2,31 cm The discus-shaped pendant was hung around the neck of Roman boys immediately after birth to ward off mischief. The bulla was made of metal or leather, the choice of materials corresponded to the financial possibilities of the parents. In the cavity were usually small figurines.
