This thing is a much improved version of my original design, which was merely a mock-up for a metal version. This version features a snap-on lid that sits flush when installed. It also features slightly rounded corners. Ooooh-Ahhhh.... rounded corners. This storage box is compatible with PAMP Suisse, Credit Suisse, APMEX, Sunshine, and many other brands of 1 gram to 50 gram gold/silver/platinum/palladium bars in assay cards (which includes the popular 1 oz size shown here). It should work for any brand providing that the assay card is roughly credit card sized. Print Settings Printer Brand: Ultimaker Printer: Ultimaker Original Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 20% Notes: This is probably best printed in PLA. ABS will really want to warp, and PETG will take too long at the recommended 30 mm/s print speed. I used 0.2mm layer height, three layers of skin top and bottom, 1mm shell thickness (two passes for my 0.5mm nozzle), and 20% fill. I also used some of my hideously green translucent filament (which I don't particularly recommend). I'll probably paint it with faux granite. No support needed.
