My son's trumpet 3rd valve got stuck the night of a concert! Turned out the guide inside the valve had worn through the brass after all the many years of playing this trumpet has had. Ordering new ones would take at least a week. Modeled this in about an hour and printed in about 5 minutes. Cleaned it up a little and it fit into place perfectly. This valve has never played this well. Will print two more for the other valves. I hope this saves someone else the pain of a broken Trumpet valve guide. This was designed for a Selmer Bundy student trumpet (circa 1975).
