15-AUG: Added photo and video of Drop #1..."SUCCESS" (Sorry, no video link so you need to download the files). Not a valid Egg Drop Challenge entry, so I only printed 1 meter of rope segments to demonstrate proof of concept.------------------------------My 10-year old son suggested a solution similar to bungee jumping. While it may not be in the spirit of the competition, it is a "creative" way to survive a fall of at least 15 feet (4.5m). Just like bungee jumping, impact is not recommended...I made a quick prototype using the sling from my previous "Eggs-2 Skycycle Rocket" entry.
