I used heat set M3 inserts in the main plate with countersunk screws to mount the bushing plate.

Full-plastic bushing plates are provided, but I found that they could break pretty easily with impact and vibrations, and instead designed a version (BushingRemovable-Bearingring.stl) that can take the inner ring of a standard 608 bearing as bushing (I used an angle grinder to cut the outer one off).

The groove of that bearing ring allows it to remain seated well enough in my prints, but please be careful and check that everything is rigid and well centered so that it doesn't go flying at high speed in your general direction.

Obviously, in that use case, you must have the right offset on your templates, but since you're into 3d printing that's not necessarily that much of a problem :)

You may have to adjust the height of the bushing plate (cut/negative Z) so that it gets to be flush with the main one.
