Lumi realized she was in trouble as soon as she reached the top of the hill that oversaw the beach. The ship, the thing closest to civilization in this arctic hell, was nowhere to be found. Instead, the sea was covered with large chunks of ice, drifting lazily in the current. She cursed and tried to supress the panic that crept up to her. They must have left the bay to prevent the ice from trapping the ship. Surely they would return. How long would it take them? A week? Two? How long had they been gone? What if the ice grew thicker? She looked around. The small hut that her trip had started from two months ago was still there. It had a small oven, a signal lantern and maybe even some supplies left. Lumi breathed out slowly, trying to make herself believe that she was still in control of everything, and started walking. File comes supported and unsupported in two version: with foot and without.
