Button

thingiverse katjoywhit 30173 Free

A button - for clothes! (not for dropping cubes on to open doors)
There are 2 parts so that you can either create a traditional button with 2 holes and one colour, or you can make a multi-colour button with no holes visible on top. The top is designed to be slightly smaller than the recess in the bottom so you can cover it in some sort of material for a fabric-centre button. (Or you can cover the whole button in fabric, which is what I've done so far).

Instructions
If you just print the main button it's all pretty self-explanatory - print and stitch on. The design is for quite a large button, so if you want small buttons you may want to enlarge the holes.
For the two part button, you'll need to fix a small metal ring (jewellery findings are ideal) through the holes before gluing on the top piece.
If you want a completely fabric-covered button, just print the main button, then fix in the metal ring, then cover with your material (only gluing on the back).
