Video overview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RW0C9vpFlBI See another version here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4551658 This is not meant for a person who needs to make a quick trip to the store. This is intended for professional workers and responsible people who must wear a mask hours at a time. IMPORTANT NOTE: READ POST PRINTING NOTES. Problem: The typical simple ear savers slide down the neck and maintains tension over the ears. I wanted a device that will allow (1) zero contact with the elastic, (2) enable me to put on and remove a mask quickly with one hand. Solution: This device comfortably fits on your head. With stable anchor points, it can accommodate surgical mask loops and N95 elastics without hurting your ears. Surgical mask can easily be removed and reattached with one hand. Eye protection can be worn. Device can be placed over a surgical cap. Face to mask seal is also improved. Always appreciate feedback. Please leave comments on ideas on how to improve it. Ill add changes as soon as I can. Versions - Originals: Uses a snap locking mechanism (see photos). Frames are 2mm thick. - Version3: The frames are a bit thinner, potentially easier to bend with PLA. But I still recommend PLA+ or PLA2 with hot water/hair dryer. Also, connections are made by a peg/hole locking mechanism. The headband components are printed flat. The changes was made to make the frame a bit more flexible and stronger. You may need to make the holes a little larger after print using a philips head or file.
