C Key Chain
thingiverse
This custom-made keychain was crafted using a laser printer. The design, created in Inventor and formatted in Illustrator, showcases a fun, simple "E" shape. To create the keychain, first, use Inventor's line and arch tools to draw the "E" shape, then dimension it. Apply the fillet tool to smooth out any sharp points on the acrylic. Next, in Inventor, draw a circle at the top corner of the "C." Ensure that you do not extrude the sketch before exporting as a DWG file for use in Illustrator. In Illustrator, paste and resize the "C" to your desired keychain size. Finally, print the design on a pink florescent acrylic laser printer using specific settings: vector cutting, speed 12, power 100, and frequency 5,000.
