c30 car body for 3d printed rc car chassis

this is a very simple model of a volvo c30 i created. it is the basis for a mold that is used to vacuum form a car body for my 3d printed rc car chassis (see 3d printed rc car chassis 1.6). hence the model is not very intricate. this also helps with demolding the sheet after it has cooled. you can see some pictures from the mold making and the first two car bodies. the mold still needs a lot of work since its surface is not yet smooth enough to produce clean surfaces on the formed sheets. due to the size limitations of my oven i had to cut the model in half and make a front and a rear section mold. therefore the two pieces of the car body are made separately and are then joined together.
