Case study experiment in “Repair using 3D printing” 1.1: 3D scan of the remaining geometry of the Braun mixer. The surfaces of the breaking points is what matters; the scan is used to trim a CAD modelled addition (1.2). A scaling marker was used to accurately scale the scan to true size.
