Case study experiment in “Repair using 3D printing” 1.2: The resulting addition, which fits exactly to the remaining housing of the mixer. The 3D scan of which (1.1) was used to trim this CAD model to end up with exactly the missing geometry. A reference side view photo was used in the process to scale and align the two models upon.
