Why are phone mounts so complicated? Why do I have to fumble with a complicated death grip mechanism? That time spent fiddling is keeping you from slamming it in gear and peeling out. With this design, your phone just slides in. That's it. Slots help improve cooling while hanging your phone near AC vents, but without blocking them from keeping you cool. This phone stand was designed for a 1987 C4 Corvette though I expect it will work with any C4 model year. Recommended phone dimensions are 167 x 80 x 13.1 mm. I recommend meshmixer if you need to scale significantly. Pictures here show a Note 9 with Spigen Case I like having a carpet dash cover. In that case the 'hook' side of velcro works great for holding it in place. Otherwise I recommend some 3M automotive non-marking tape.
