2004-2012 GMC Canyon/Chevy Colorado trucks do not have paper/fiber cabin air filters - just a mesh wire to keep large debris from entering the cabin air intake. This adapter allows you to add and quickswap a cabin air filter. Parts (~$10): All printed parts 2x M6x1.0x50mm bolts (part of harbor freight item 67624) 2x M6x1.0mm nuts (part of harbor freight item 67624) 1x Air filter (I used Autozone's STP CAF1886P) Epoxy (or hotmelt bots into place) Any air filter that is max 21x95x185mm will work. If your filter is taller, scale the model on the Z-Axis or ask me to update the file (I will only do z-axis updates or make particular spacers). If your support-game is weak, I recommend scaling the Z axis by 1% to make sure it doesn't sag to far and prevent the filter from being inserted. There is a spacer to hold different lengths of filters in. The supplied spacer is 13mm from the edge of the bolt cylinder but I can upload different sizes if your filters are longer or shorter. There is a file you can print to test fit the width and height of the filter without having to print the entire body. Print the securing mechanism on its side so the arms don't snap. You'll need to epoxy the nuts into the main body and the securing mechanism or melt them in. Securing mechanism inspired by Adam Davenport on youtube.
