Its much sturdier then most locks out there for those who have kids who put there back into it. I used a wire for the pins that's about 0.075" OD. The spring I used is about 0.625" long, 0.188" OD, 0.018 wire diameter, I got from variety pack at home depot but I'm sure there are many similar sized that will work. Don't have the screw on bracket for those drawers without a lip but there are many that should play nicely from other locks.
