Cabinet Spring Plunger

<p>So I had a TV cabinet that has a lift to bring the TV up in front of a window for viewing. The lid of the cabinet would push open in the process but would be pushed completed vertical. I needed a small spring device that I could mount in the window area to gently push the lid back down to get it started when the TV was lowered. I looked on the Internet for an hour before the light bulb came on and I figured out I could make it myself.</p><p>So a little bit later with a spare 6mm piece of rod I had laying around and a scrap spring in my misc. hardware and here you go. Not sure if anyone needs this specific item but it may give you ideas on what you can do.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>All designs are done in <a href="https://openscad.org/">OpenSCAD</a></p><p>&nbsp;</p>
