I just built and installed a heated build platform on my Makerbot. The cables which connect the platform to the extruder controller were flopping around the Z axis belt on top of the 'Bot. This simple part mounts on top of the 'Bot and keeps the cables out of harms way (hopefully). Instructions Printed with a Makerbot on a heated build platform. Standard settings. I used screws to attach it to the top of the 'Bot but glue or velcro might work too. The object does not print with the screw holes - they have to be drilled if needed. This is version 2. The first version apparently produced incomplete .gcode files when using Skeinforge. For some reason Skeinfox (Mac) worked fine. This version has a reworked geometry and at least on my computer Skeinforge made a correct .gcode file.
