Try it, I promise it'll be the best you're going to find in the Internet. I went through all the cable chains I can find and combined all of the best elements and tolerances. Infill 15 ~ 20% Infill Type: Trihexagon (for more shear strength) Layer Height: 0.16 mm Designed to not need any support while printing. For most cases, the chain will be slightly tight. I purposely designed it to be a little tighter so we can wear out some material by hand, obtaining perfect tolerance. Here's what I do: 1) Connect the printed chains. 2) For every chain, pinch the joint hard (where is connects to the next chain) and rotate the joint repeatedly for 5 - 6 times. This will result in the wear of some plastic, causing it to be more smooth. Do so until the joints move with ease. Another option is to just play around with the chain (by hand). This will also cause wear, but slower. You'll need two M5, approximately 1cm bolts for the Z-axis mount.
