We printed 10' of this cable chain for our 4'x4' Hedron Ooznest Openbuilds OxCNC machine. more info on our machine at http://hedron.technology/cncrouter. We printed this chain at scale = 2.0. It easily snaps together though it is not as strong as the original by tosjduenfs. When we tried to snap together the original scaled 2X by tosjduenfs we could not snap them together easily so we modified the wall thickness for an easier fit. In my opinion, there is a balance that could be achieved between our two designs for the ultimate in fast printing, easy assembly and durability. All one would need to do is play around some more with the design files, which both tosjduenfs and I provide, this was good enough for us for now. Print Settings Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3mm Infill: 50 Notes: I uploaded the file upside down. We printed 4 at a time, SCALE = 2.0 to house several cables at once. How I Designed This Solidworks Used the existing solidworks files and scaled down the wall thickness in places so that when printed at 2.0 scale it doesn't consume as much plastic.
