This is the joystick I crafted to control my cable-driven animatronic tentacle systems. Here's a list of components and tools you'll need to complete the printed object: - A tap and dye set - A power drill - A rotary tool with cut-off wheel - Various nuts and bolts - Four 1/2-inch clothesline pulleys - Flat washers (to accommodate pulleys) - Five millimeter brake-cable housing - One sixteenth-inch aircraft cable - Ferules for one-sixteenth-inch wire-rope - Wire-rope clamps for one-sixteenth-inch wire-rope - A compression spring (optional) - Any cable-driven tentacle mechanism
