Carl's Aluminum X-Ends (shop.raffle.ch) are a great upgrade for Replicator 2's and 2X's. The installation instructions suggest the use of tie-wraps to route the X-axis wire harness. I wanted something a little better. This cable race is designed for use with the Cicoil full-motion cable upgrade that I have installed on my machine. I think this may be of use for those using the standard harness, I do not know. It might need slight modification or the clever use of tie-wraps. I am using M3x6mm screws, but any reasonable length M3 screws will probably work of approximately the same size. This is not as elegant as my stock X-end cable harness strain relief, but gets the job done for me. Your mileage may vary. Instructions The part does rely on bridging, so make sure your printer can properly print bridges. Print the part and carefully clean up the mouse-ears with an exacto knife. Feed the cable through the part, and attach to the Alu-X-End with the M3 screws. Then carefully pull the slack of the cable through appropriately.
