Cable Slitter R1

I remixed my cable slitter. I added a depth adjustment screw, a blade cover, and a perpendicular slot. It works a lot better now. Let me know if it works for you. Or not... Here's a short video https://youtu.be/3TNGuIz2kXw I have printed this in PLA 220 nozzle, 60 bed, 0.2 layer, 30% infill ABS 225 nozzle, 100 bed, 0.2 layer, 50% infill PETG 235 nozzle, 70 bed, 0.2 layer, 25% infill I had a problem with the hinge on top of the bottom piece when I printed it in ABS. So I added a patch hinge. If this happens to you, then sand the area smooth and glue on a new hinge so all is not wasted. You can use ABS slurry, super glue, or plumber ABS cement. Super strong stuff. The single edge razor blade fits a little better in it's holder now. A little bit looser. Mine will float around about 1 mm or so. You still need to clean up this area post print. There is a tiny slot that gets fused back together (on my printers anyway) and it should be cut apart with a razor blade. It is located on the opposite side of the screw, in the front, 5mm up from the base. It makes a locking tab for the blade. You can see it in Thingiview. I used a 3mm bolt for the hinge and it's a little sloppy. I think an 8-32 fits better.
