Cable/Wire Guide for Moving Wire

Cable/Wire Guide for Moving Wire

My small bench-top mill has a power feed with limit switches. The cables for the limit switches move with the mill table, so I needed a way to keep one of the cables from getting fouled. I also wanted to be able to quickly add or remove the cable from the guide.

The guide has a screw hole in the base for mounting. I used a small sheet metal screw to screw the guide to the wood frame of my mill base (there is room in the cable slot to fit a small screwdriver).

To use, simply attach to the desired location and insert the cable sideways though the slot. Note that the guide is designed to hold the wire or cable loosely to allow lateral movement through the guide.

Print Instructions

Print in PLA using the 3mf or gcode files provided.
